7. class work. Cheating~

Q: What do you think should be the punishment for students who cheat in this class?Should they be allowed a second chance to “fix” their mistakes? If so, what can they do to fix their earlier mistakes?
A: I think to cheat is a very awful thinking and if anyone start to cheat as a quick way to reach or get his/her goals, it must need to be taught and fix or punish right a way before it turn to a “bad habit”. And I totally agree that to cheat or not is relating person’s family education. And the reasons of cheating are all different per each one. I remembered when I first cheated to watch others answers during the test was because I am afraid to get low grades so that I’d be hit by teacher and my mom. If I cheat, I may have chance to escape from the scary spank; if I don’t cheat, I sure to be hit badly. What would I chose? And what would you chose at that moment? After I grow up, I won’t be hit by teachers anymore so I don’t cheat of test to have higher greats either.

First of all, what is the purpose of punish for cheating? To be honest and not cheating! I don’t think so! Because you can watch people cheat around you in your world. I think to chose to be honest is a very precious character and it can really help you to get your goal later.
If i am a tercher and i found that some of my student cheat in class, I certainly tell them no way to be cheat in my class. And i'll gave them some important concept of goods being honest. And also tell them cheat is useless for their future and to get a good job later. Of course I’ll be very nice to give them certain chance to fix it by making en appointment in my office and give they work to do to make their subject pass. If i found a student cheating during the test, i'll walk to my student and warn him/her behavier. If she/ he get not good grades i'll help them to pass the course though other ways or works.

In my opinion, to learn things in my class is more important then to get high grades or get pass.
And that is also my concept. Learning is more important then just pass the class. If i dont get a good greads in classes i'll be sad and maybe do it later... but not cheating at all.
