Car accident!

i had car accident last week when i drove my car to the recording studio for the songs of WWS. my classmates and i were so shock! And that was my "first time". I called the ploice and the insurance company. after one week....my car is still not fix well... that is not convenient for me a lot. the good things is they'll pay the money for their fault and there was no one get hurt. :)

1. What is the penalty for plagiarism at Stanford University?
The standard penalty for a first-time violation of the Honor Code is a one-quarter suspension and 40 hours of community service. The six posssible punishments are Disciplinary Warning,Reprimand,Restitution,Disciplinary Probation,Suspension,Dismissal.

3. Google the words “Fired for plagiarism”. List three examples of people who have lost their jobs for plagiarism. Make a brief summary of them and write it on your blog.
(1)Madonna G. Constantine, the former professor of psychology and education at Columbia University’s Teachers College who was fired following allegations of plagiarism, has sued the university seeking reinstatement, the New York Daily News reported. University officials declined to comment to the newspaper about the lawsuit.
(2)If you publish a plagiarized article in a college newspaper, odds are you will be fired immediately when the plagiarism is discovered. However, if you work at CBS or at the Harvard Law School, your chances are survival are much greater. From the article: "The DP [Daily Pennsylvanian] does not tolerate plagiarism in any form..." One notes that "success in the marketplace" is not a mitigating factor for plagiarism in the college newspaper business. Being a "good" plagiarist is not a defense.
(3) The chief editorial writer of a local Japanese Hiroshi Kobayashi confessed to copying at least 15 editorials from other papers when he could no longer think what to write for his paper, the Kofu-based Yamanashi Nichinichi Shimbun. The company's president and chairman, Eiichi Noguchi, also resigned from his post as president.

4. Read the following examples of plagiarism and the action that was taken because of it at one American university. Do you agree with the punishment in these cases? If yes, why. If not, explain why. Write your opinion on your blog.
I agree that, but i think the punishment is too much for the Taiwaness student. I remember when i was in elementry school, teacher always told us to copy something as our homework and as a punishment for us. Later we grow up, sometimes we are not sensitive for coping things cause we copy many things as a usually. For Taiwaness, i think 20 hours of community service and drop the course that student have plagiarismd is more fair then 40 hours of community service and One-quarter suspension .

wowsh~~~ i am sooo busy.....at school, for the performace...and...
I am "a little bit" ( actually is very) moody cause i break up with my boyfriend...
we have been together for a year a nd a half...
not very long time but i treat the relationship unlike other bfs before.
to break up is a little bit complicated though...
i think that is also a bad time for me to break up with him...

Today...in class~

tpday's class work is not easy... and i am always busy in class all the time...
wow~ a lot of works ... and a busy class...

Performs

the "Long Time No See" photograph exhibition was going very well in 玄奘大學and I had a wonderful day this Monday afternoon with my old friends too. I played 3 songs I wrote and my favorite songs too. I play three times with those same songs in the break time between classes. I am so happy that there were many people stopped and listen. And after that, my wu-ming blog has some encourage messages from the audience that day. ^^! Share some of the pics.

WOW~ Camel Meat

It was my first time I ate camel meat and beef-sausage from the wild in South Africa!! Believe me! Those really taste great!
I went to a special restaurant, “South Africa” last Sunday evening. My bf’s parents invited me to eat dinner with them. At first, I thought we’d eat something ordinary. But after we had a long drive till out of the city, my bf and I found that we were going to countryside. The place is not easy to find. It’s more like a villa or a cottage home. The host was very nice and welcomed. He was talkative and just like a grandpa who was very happy that his family came back home. All the dishes are good… I also like the salad and ate treble portions of it. Ohhh~
Another special thing is the lemon juice. They made it with some special leafs from South Africa. The host told us that we are lucky because there are no more camel meat imported from South Africa till October anymore.~^^~

Sorry Dad!!

my dad and i had lunch this afternoon. actually i haven't see him for a while. we talked and talked about each other's life... he told me that his work is not going well recently. suddenly, i felt so sad... so sad so sad....... cause i can do nothing to help him. another sad thing is that he is getting older each time i met him and we both too busy that we dont have time to spend together.
i always tell them about the "good" part about me and dont want them to worried about me. at first it worked, but it changed after i had a bf. the only thing i made him and my family very sad is that i live with my bf now. they think i chose the wrong guy to be with and as a Chirstian, i am very "sin" now. hai................ so sad so sad so sad!

Basketball~

For the graduate performers WSS, we practice it at every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday night. For being a good direct, I set the schedule for them each week. After the rehearsal, we play the basketball game at the gym tonight just for the show. That was so fun because we practice English during the game and called each other’s role name. I believe that something would happen between us after the game and brought us closely. And I think the greatest reward is when I work so hard on it, they start to listen and act what I taught them and work hard too. Since the old time drama make people feel boring, I also add some funny thing on it. I hope the play won’t let the audience sleep too much… haha!

Good luck & Mah-jongg night

:( I was very tired today... actually,i am tired everyday. After the "WSS" rehearsal tonight, my friends begging me to play Chinese ma-jongg with them. Mah-jongg is not a easy game to play and it has many rules to follow. And people always play it as a gambling to earn some money. I am not good at it at all, and for them, i am a very new player. I won once before just because of my lucky brought me good tablets. I felt that i was not lucky today... And I just knew it! I Warning my BF what i felt about my luck today, he said,"Its ok, we'll just have fun. I really want to play tonight." ... We wnet to the table and play 3 hours till mid-night... We loose 460N.T. totally finally. Having fun with friends is good, but its not a happy thing to lose money. :( By now... after the "fun time", I'm worried about the greatist thing that is to get up early and to go to class from 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. tomorrow. GOOD-LUCK!

Class work...9/30

I think there is no useless knowledge when we study; it's all depend what we interested and we can't put money before learning, too. I think the knowledge of humanities can brought us close to the people and the world. We also learned the mistakes that people did from the pass and not do it again now. We also level up our life and quality through classes like literature, history, and philosophy. Try to think a bit, in a business side, actually its not only a money but the connection of other people. The customers should be persuasive by you or your idea with...? With you! How you'd make others trusting you and putting their money on you without that your knowledge was less then them. However, humanities knowledge is as important as the major subject people study. Sometimes it's the more basic thing to know as a common sense.

West Side Story (I say go go~)

Today was not the first day that we rehearsed the second part of WWstory.But after a whole day class without rest, i felt really tired of concentrate on the direct part at night. Also, almost everyone was as tired as I.

As a direct, i often think how to help our group work quicker and better. But i guess i have to figure more problems by myself that i ever thought about. First, to many voices to interfere in the time we practiced, but no one can be responsible for the final decision. Then, my limit knowledge cannot help me to answer many questions from the actors. Sometimes i dont know whats the best for them, and for the play. I need to explain, to convince and even act too. The worst thing is i felt confused as well as them. Well, the story is really not interesting in many parts and ways. I know i am facing a big challenge now.

It also has goods about that. I learned to handle many unsure situation. We also done many funny things and laugh a lot during the rehearseing time. Its good that we have chance to work on one goal ,a "big show" together. i think the time we spent on together will be the most precious memory of my life.

"Long Time No See" Photograph Exhibition

"Long Time No See" is a photograph exhibition of my friend miss Xiao Qian who loved to catch good pictures from people common lifies. I like her works a lot and also feel touched every time.

The story began with her college life and her friends. And that make us remember the coloful life we had with our friends in campus.

As her friend, i am invited to sing on the first day of her exhibition.
